Oklahoma has some of the most up-to-date Route 66 museums of any of the eight states along the Route. There are 432 miles (695 km) of Route 66 in Oklahoma, with many fan-favorite attractions along the way. Route 66 has been replaced by Interstate 44, northeast of Oklahoma City and by Interstate 40, west of OKC.
